Gas Natural performs its inaugural sale of liquefied natural gas (LNG) in India Gas Natural performs its inaugural sale of liquefied natural gas (LNG) in India, representing its entry into one of the countries with the highest purchasing potential in the Asian Basin. This week the company is delivering a shipment to the Indian company Gail, the leading distributor and marketer of gas in this country. This is also the first time that Gail has made a direct purchase. For Gas Natural, this operation, which is being processed through Repsol - Gas Natural LNG (Stream), is strategic as it opens up the Indian market for future short-, medium- and long-term operations. For Gail, this also represents the first LNG direct purchase agreement in the market. The methane tanker "Castillo de Villalba", part of the Stream fleet, has carried the cargo from Trinidad & Tobago to the Dahej terminal in India, where it is scheduled to unload next week.
