STREAM's privileged position in LNG commercialization is based on the liquefaction and regasification projects developed by its parent companies.

Repsol is a partner of the Atlantic LNG Liquefaction Plant (Trinidad & Tobago) since 1995, with a share of 20 to 25% of the volume in its 4 trains.

Repsol participates with 20% in the Peru LNG project, together with Hunt Oil (50%), SK (20%) and Marubeni (10%). It is also the only offtaker of all the LNG to be produced.

YPF holds 50% of Escobar LNG together with ENARSA which has the other 50%. The Escobar terminal began operation in June 2011 becoming the second Terminal in Argentina.

Repsol holds a 75% share of CANAPORT LNG, together with Irving Oil (25%), and also owns 100% of the regasification rights.

Gas Natural Fenosa owns a 47.5% of EcoEléctrica (regasification terminal and combined cycle power plant located in Puerto Rico), together with Edison (50%) and General Electric (2.5%).

In May 2008, the first regasification plant in the Southern Cone commenced operations. The project was conducted and coordinated by STREAM.

Gas Natural Fenosa, with other local partners, is developing two regasification plant projects in Italy: one is to be located in Trieste, and the other in Taranto.
